Open CMA Committees
Membership/Industry Relations
The Membership/Industry Relations committee is tasked with identifying potential manufacturer, distributor, representative, and other industry related members, explaining the benefits of membership. This committee is responsible for developing and maintaining positive public image for the Association, handling public relation matters, developing strategies to successfully market and advertise events and programs, develop media opportunities to showcase the Association
Governance
The Governance Committee has the responsibility to maintain and update the CMA By-laws and ensure proper board governance and operations.
Education
The Education Committee provides learning and training opportunities for the general membership by providing speakers and seminars related to all aspects of their business, and works toward the continuous improvement of the caliber of training provided by manufacturers during the annual conference.
Finance
The Finance Committee serves as a consulting body to the administration of the budget. It is the responsibility of the finance committee to analyze and advise expenditures and to prepare the annual budget. This committee will work with the Executive Director and President in preparation of the budget.
Website / Newsletter
Chairperson: Alex Hinerfeld – Members: Tiffany Branin, Clorinda Sadler
This Committee publishes the Association’s e-newsletters and bulletins and maintains the CMA website.
Future Sites
Chairperson: Barry Webster – Members: Dana Hanford, Jamie Gunn
The Future Sites Committee is responsible for researching and proposing sites for the Association’s annual meeting, and for negotiating contracts with the selected sites including meeting space and hotel rooms.
Conference Banquet/Theme
The Conference Theme Committee is responsible for the overall concept on the conference, including the opening session. Responsibilities includes planning the awards banquet with the Executive Director, including the agenda and entertainment, coordinating the Awards Banquet events, and emceeing the evening’s events. The committee also retains existing sponsor partners, identifies and recruits new sponsor partners, and develops ongoing opportunities for financial industry support of the Association’s annual conference.

The Conference Sponsor Committee is responsible for the retaining existing sponsor partners, identifies and recruits new sponsor partners, and develops ongoing opportunities for financial industry support of the Association’s annual conference.
Conference Vendor Trade Show
The Conference Theme Committee is responsible for the overall concept on the conference, including the opening session. Responsibilities includes planning the awards banquet with the Executive Director, including the agenda and entertainment, coordinating the Awards Banquet events, and emceeing the evening’s events. Social Events
The committee coordinates all conference social events as may be approved by the board of directors.
