CMA Charity Fundraiser

Last year's 50/50 Raffle and fundraising event raised $3,075 for the Nevada Humane Society G.I. Dogs Program in Reno. This year we will again have a raffle to raise money for another great organization that works with Veterans and their families.

This year we are raising funds for the Gary Sinise Foundation and its many wonderful projects for Veterans. We are featuring one of these projects: R.I.S.E.

R.I.S.E provides specially adapted smart homes to America's most severely wounded heroes & their families as well as home modifications, mobility devices, and adapted vehicles to injured, wounded, ill, and/or aging heroes from all military conflicts. The simple tasks of everyday life are easy to take for granted. But living in total reliance of caregivers for even the most mundane, sometimes very personal tasks is a reality for many severely wounded veterans.

R.I.S.E. was established to provide these heroes and their families with the resources to overcome their new life challenges. The Gary Sinise Foundation is committed to helping our wounded heroes increase their mobility and reclaim their self-reliance.

We will sell raffle tickets during CMA for $5 each or five for $20. The drawing for the 50/50 Raffle will be held at the Annual CMA Awards Banquet on Wednesday evening. For an example of how R.I.S.E. helps our veterans have a look at the video below.
